ACT is conducting an integrity check of continued ACT residence for those who have been nominated for a subclass 190 visa by the ACT government.
ACT 190 nominees are required to provide bank statements as evidence of their continuing ACT residence. If Skills Canberra is not satisfied that the ACT nominees are currently resident in Canberra, their ACT 190 nomination may be withdrawn. If ACT 190 nomination is withdrawn, the Department is unable to grant the visa.
Further, it appears that an integrity check of continued ACT residence for ACT sc 491 nominees will commence shortly.
