This is an Australian visa with an online points test for skilled workers who are nominated by a state or territory. The holder of one of these visas can live and work permanently in the nominated state or territory, and add or remove family members anytime while onshore or offshore. Requirement
The high-income threshold last financial year the amount set by Fair Work Australia. This year, the threshold is at $158,500.
Have an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in one any of the a profession, sports, arts or academia and research
The Department will assess the applicant’s ability to earn the threshold through:

  • The applicant’s current salary
  • Job offer outlining the salary
  • Recent PhD or Masters graduates in the target sectors.

Nominator Requirement

Have a nominator with a national reputation in your area of talent who is: an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident, an eligible New Zealand citizen, or an Australian organisation

Lived and worked for three years in a designated regional area in Australia

191 is permanent visa, which allows you and your family to work and study anywhere in Australia, apply for Australian citizenship, if eligible.

Requirement
Currently on a regional provisional visa subclass 491 or 494 visa for at least three years and minimum income 53900 A$ per annum for at least three years.

Visa holders can move between regional areas. Regional areas are defined as any area excluding Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
