The revival of Australia’s economy has resulted in a high need for skilled labor. Australia relies heavily on skilled migrants as a source of talent.
The Australian government is establishing three Migrant Skills Incentives to increase chances for onshore migrants to join the workforce and address skills shortages.
Around 9,500 onshore migrants will benefit from the incentives, which include free, expedited skills evaluations, free employability assessments, and subsidized training to help them improve their employment situations. This will assist Australian firms and industries in dealing with labor shortages.
