To provide relief to thousands of temporary graduate visa holders who are now stranded overseas, immigration minister Alex Hawke has confirmed that the Australian government is investigating visa flexibilities for existing 485 visa holders in the “very near future.” The government will soon offer visa incentives for holders of temporary graduate visas (subclass 485): Greens will introduce legislation to extend Australian visas for persons who are stranded abroad.
