You can still obtain proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations online if you are not eligible for Medicare.
When you receive a COVID-19 vaccine, your health care provider notifies the Australian Immunization Register.
You can obtain a record of all vaccines administered to you that are listed on the register. This record is referred to as your immunization history statement. Your immunization history statement can be used to verify your COVID-19 vaccination status.
If you require a copy of your immunization history, you can obtain one through myGov.
This requires an Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI) and the IHI service to be linked to your myGov account.
If you do not already have a myGov account, you will need to create one.
If you are eligible for Medicare, you can obtain the vaccination certificate from mygov through my health record.
