Clearer path to permanent residency
3 targeted streams:
Specialist Skills Stream: No occupation list, $135K salary
Core Skills Stream: New occupation list, salary at or above TSMIT
Labour Agreement Stream: Sponsored by companies with unique agreements
Reduced work experience requirement: Only 1 year of relevant experience needed (down from 2)
Note: The existing Subclass 482 visa will close to new applications once the SID visa is live (expected end of 2024).
