Nearly half of the students from India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka who applied for a student visa were denied, according to the most recent data on immigration released by Australian authorities. Visa approval rates for students in vocational education, particularly from these countries, have been below 50% for the majority of 2022. Only 34 out of more than 900 student applications for vocational education were approved, or 3.8%.
