Skilled migrants and Territorians will benefit from new updates to the Northern Territory Designated Area Migration Agreement (NT DAMA). The changes expand the number of eligible occupations allowing for more dedicated migration places for the NT while providing local businesses with greater access to skilled workers. The Australian Government will also increase the allocation of Territory-nominated skilled migration program places by 200 positions for the remainder of the 2021-22 year.
