MATES Visa Scheme Launching for Indian Graduates and Early-Career Professionals!
Australia and India are set to further strengthen their ties with the introduction of the Mobility Arrangement for Talented Early-professionals Scheme (MATES), launching in late 2024.
This new visa pathway, under the Temporary Work (International Relations) (Subclass 403), will provide Indian university graduates and early-career professionals from India’s top universities with the chance to live and work in Australia for up to two years.
Key Details:
3,000 visa places will be available annually.
A pre-application ballot process will ensure a fair and transparent selection of applicants.
The scheme is designed to help Australian industries access India’s top talent in key sectors.

Renewable Energy
Mining
Engineering
Information and Communication Technology
Artificial Intelligence
Financial Technology
Agricultural Technology
