Australians who are fully vaccinated will soon be eligible to travel internationally without first obtaining an exemption.

The government has announced that Australian citizens and permanent residents aged 12 and over who have received two doses of a recognised vaccine will no longer require an exemption to travel. This could begin in November, but additional information will be provided shortly.

Children under the age of 12 and those who are unable to receive vaccinations due to medical reasons will also be able to travel abroad without a vaccination exemption.
