Removal of COVID-era policy settings.
The Government will reverse a number of COVID-era policy changes starting on July 1, 2023. These were established by the Coalition Government as a result of pressure from business lobby groups that were in need of workers but had little concern for what would happen to temporary workers and new immigrants during a recession.
