Working holiday visa holders are appealing to the Australian government to fulfil a promise to refund software fees, with only 5% of candidates reimbursed thus far. Only 500 working holiday maker claims have been processed so far, out of approximately 11,000 that have been filed since January.
That means that only about one in every twenty applicants has received a refund, leaving thousands of people waiting for months with no response.
